It’s Friday!

In today’s video I share why the food you are eating this week is so simple.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the more we complicate food, the more likely it is we will keep reaching for the processed, convenient stuff.

This program is designed to show you how simple this whole ‘eat real food’ thing can be.

We need to be thinking about cooking once and having leftovers made into a meal. Or batch cooking and adding things to the freezer.

Life can get crazy, so let’s keep food simple!

Avocado on toast

Avocado on Toast (serves 2)

 GF, DF, Veg

For a quick breakfast. There’s nothing better than ‘avo on toast’!

Ingredients

  •     •  4 slices sourdough bread, toasted (or G/F bread, or bread of choice)
  •     •  1 avocado
  •     •  Butter
  •     •  Salt and Pepper
  •     •  Juice of 1 lemon

Method

  •     1.  Toast your bread.
  •     2.  Butter the toast.
  •     3.  Spread avocado thickly over the top and squeeze lemon juice over
  •          the top along with freshly cracked salt and pepper

Prepare for tomorrow:
  • If your chicken is in the freezer, take it out and place in the fridge to begin thawing overnight.
