I wanted to share something with you. I’ve been getting this strange feeling as I’ve been delivering these episodes.
It seems bizarre because it’s counter-intuitive.
But it’s kind of like….
We almost have resistance to reducing overwhelm.
And it’s obvious why. Who are we without our overwhelm? As we learnt in Episode #1 if we IDENTIFY as being overwhelmed – we will find any way we can to prove that’s exactly what we are so we keep getting overwhelmed!
But what a disservice we are doing ourselves by thinking this is a given. And why is it that people get their backs up when I say it can be different?
Graduates of my program Small Steps Back to You are a perfect example of a group of people who chose to face their overwhelm head on and are reaping the rewards. My Membership is filled with women who are doing life completely differently. Probably because they didn’t OVERWHELM themselves with their changes. They took one small step at a time.
It is possible to reduce your overwhelm. It absolutely is.
